Renea Lombardi
Property Portfolio Manager
Renea is a native Portlander who comes to Descansa with 20 years of long and short term property management including six years at Airbnb as an Operations Manager. She brings a wealth of expertise to our team and is enthusiastic to bring Descansa to higher heights. When not at work, Renea is off hiking with her dog, gardening, seeing live music or adventuring locally or abroad. As an investment property owner herself, you can count on Renea to keep a close watch on the market and treat your property as one of her own.

Deidre Garrett
Property Administrator
Deidre is a seasoned property administrator with 8 years of experience in the industry. Previously, she worked as a graphic designer, honing her eye for detail and creative problem-solving skills. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, including two furry companions – a cat and a dog named Blazer (go Blazers!). Deidre is also an avid traveler, always looking for new adventures and experiences. Her ultimate goal is to continue growing her career in property management while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Lehua Hookano
Guest Support Associate
Lehua assists with guest services, manages our cleaning teams, stays on top of permitting, and helps Descansa operate effectively. Lehua was born and raised in Kauai, Hawaii and has a professional background working at luxury resorts. When not at work, Lehua enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in the mountains, and surfing.

Maintenance Manager

Kate Simer
CEO
As the Founding CEO of Descansa, Kate’s role is focused on leading the company with a values-based, people-first approach to property management. Kate’s experience in hosting first began working at her family’s international youth hostel. Years later, she managed 100+ properties in Barcelona and along the Costa Brava on both a short and long-term basis. Kate loves to travel, read, spend time with her son Fritz, and see live music at her husband’s guitar shop, 3 Tracks Music. When she’s not at the helm at Descansa, Kate can be found at her gift shop & event space La Paloma.
